Led the strategic evolution and execution of
Rakuten's flagship experiential event.

 This monumental undertaking, held at Pacifico Yokohama, redefined the group's largest gathering, drawing over 80,000 cumulative attendees (across its history) into an immersive exploration of "AI-nization" and the democratization of AI.

My role encompassed the overarching creative vision, brand identity development, and meticulous project management for this two-pronged event featuring a high-profile Business Conference and
an innovative AI Exhibition, positioning Rakuten at the
forefront of future-forward technology.

As a key leader in this initiative, my responsibilities spanned the critical intersection of creative vision, brand strategy,
and large-scale project delivery:


Strategic Transformation & Branding:
Spearheaded the rebranding and conceptual shift from "Rakuten Optimism" to "Rakuten AI Optimism," defining the core message of "Empowering the Future" and ensuring a cohesive visual and thematic identity that resonated across all event touchpoints. 


Content & Experience Design:
Collaborated closely on the architectural design of the event, segmenting it into a distinguished "Business Conference" featuring global AI leaders and an immersive "Exhibition" showcasing cutting-edge AI solutions and technologies from Rakuten and partners.


High-Profile Speaker & Engagement Strategy:
Played a pivotal role in shaping the narrative for the Business Conference, which attracted industry luminaries like Hiroshi Mikitani, Kashiwa Sato, and leading strategists, ensuring the content delivered maximum impact and insight for attendees ranging from young innovators to business leaders.


Experiential Innovation:
Oversaw the creative direction for the Exhibition, ensuring a dynamic environment where attendees could not only learn about but also experience AI-powered services, engage in business discussions, and connect with innovative companies. This included integrating unique engagement elements like the special Okaimono Panda sticker
campaign to drive participation.
